Construction activity for the week included;
• Bulk earthworks at Powerlink substation bench key activity this week
• Crushing plant transported onto site to allow use of excavated rock as roadbase or compacted fill
• Water stand set-up (extraction point)
• Site Entry Road (from base of hill to top) earthworks continues
• Continuation of earthworks for turbine access roads
• Hardstand and foundation excavation for WTG 1-9
• Field survey work continues for UXO, Cultural Heritage and Environmental aspects prior to vegetation clearance in new areas
• Two UXO finds made this week. Identification has been communicated to DoD and QLD police with disposal planned for 23 May 2017.
